Louis Vuitton’s Vivienne Jets-Off To Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal For Resort’s First-Birthday Celebration

Vivenne, the emblematic mascot for Louis Vuitton, takes over Atlantis The Royal in a never seen avatar.

Marking a stylish first anniversary, Atlantis The Royal collaborated with Louis Vuitton (LV) by unveiling LV’s iconic Vivienne mascot in the resort. The playful mascot travelled all the way from fashion capital Paris for a fun getaway in Atlantis, Dubai.

Vivienne’s six different larger-than-life statues positioned around Atlantis The Royal, depicts their own personality and story. Jetsetter Vivienne sports Pharrell Williams x Louis Vuitton sunglasses, while Roller Vivienne is carrying a Louis Vuitton-branded camera indulging in photography, while the relaxed Sailor Vivienne is spending the day out in the sun near the resort’s  fire and water fountain wearing luxury fashion house’s cap.

Making the resort a  delight to savour, these edgy figurines—specially crafted in Dubai using a combination of traditional and modern craftsmanship techniques—open portals to tell unique stories to guests with the help of augmented reality (AR). Guests can explore the world of Vivienne via a digital map that will reveal the location of the Vivienne sculptures across Atlantis The Royal. On the map, once any of the mascots is located, an animated mark will pop-up.

Apart from six three-metres tall sculptures, two 10-metre tall inflatable Viviennes are located at the entrance of the ultra-luxury resort and on top of Estiatorio Milos overlooking the Skyblaze fountains.

Adding to the resort’s grand first birthday celebrations, the Louis Vuitton and Atlantis The Royal are also offering the guests a limited-edition collection of 18 trunk stickers. Guests will be gifted one collectable sticker for each night’s stay until 31st May, 2024. This collaboration followed the opening of Louis Vuitton’s first resort store in the Middle East at Atlantis The Royal in November 2023.

Timothy Kelly, President of Atlantis commenting on the collaboration says, “One year ago we bought Beyoncé to help us introduce Atlantis The Royal to the world, so for our first birthday we wanted to steer away from the expectations of holding another event and head towards something a little more surprising. Working closely with the Louis Vuitton team, we’ve been able to harness the intersection between fashion, art and travel yet again, to create another iconic Atlantis experience, but this time, we invite the world to come and celebrate along with us”.
