Musa, or the “Museo Subacuático de Arte,” was brought to life at the hands of Artist Jason DeCaires Taylor and his collaborator Jaime Gonzalez Cano. The marvellous project primarily aims to create a unique space where art enthusiasts can not only enjoy the arts but also engage in snorkelling and diving. By doing so, it reduces the impact on the natural reefs. At Musa, you can explore an impressive collection of 500 life-sized statues spread across three different galleries. This initiative not only offers an impactful alternative to keep tourists away from the natural reefs while providing them with a more unique experience.
