Bestowed in an intricate labyrinth of 25 Golden Age Canal houses linked together in Amsterdam, Hotel Pulitzer is a luxurious tribute to the prestigious heritage and flamboyant lives of notable Dutch aristocrats residing in Amsterdam. The historic place was reformed by South African designer Jacu Strauss in 2016 . The exquisitely-appointed rooms feature classical details such as wooden beams and bare bricks, yet maintaining a contemporary aesthetic by dint of a colour palette including subdued colours with vibrant tones such as purple, lime green, slate blue and mustard yellow. The creative director successfully brought a modern feel to the hotel by making use of jewel stones, opulent materials and eccentric decorative objects.
